January 2005: 1993 Aston Martin Virage Volante Widebody Convertible The Aston Martin Virage coupe was soon followed by a convertible Volante version which was unveiled at the British International Motor Show in October 1990 in an unusual two seater configuration and with a luggage shelf behind the occupants. A few months later in March 1991, the revised 2+2 Volante was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor show. The Virage Volante was initially made available in January 1992 and the production period spanned only from 1992 to 1996 with only 224 built which makes this a very rare car. Only between 125 to134 were produced between 1992 and 1993 but only 14 widebodys were imported to the U.S. so this maybe a unicorn that some of us may never see in real life. We had the pleasure and honor to service this very rare (only 1 of 14 imported to the U.S.) 1993 Virage Volante Widebody in Midnight Blue Metallic with Magnolia Leather interior piped Blue. It has a Blue Mohair top with only 7400 miles and an automatic transmission. It was delivered to our shop in New York for an interior and exterior DyNA Paint Reconditioning and Restoration with the worn interior leathered also re-dyed to original. The specifications are listed below along with the gallery of photos. Enjoy! (click on the image to enlarge) Engine: Dimensions: Weights: Chassis: Performance: Others:
